And he shal buylde an house for my name, & I wyll stablyshe the seate of hys kyngdome for euer:

he shall make no ende to encrease the kyngedome and peace, and shall sytte vpon the seate of Dauid, and in his kyngedome, to set vp the same, to stablyshe it wyth equyte and ryghteousnesse, from thence forth for euermore. This shall the gelousy of the Lorde of hostes brynge to paste.

Then gaue he hym power and dignitie regal, that al people trybes and tunges shoulde serue him. Hys power is an euerlastynge power, whych shal neuer be put doune, and his kingdome endureth vncorrupte.

In the dayes of these kinges shall the God of heauen set vp an euerlastynge kyngdome whiche shall not peryshe, and hys kyngdome shall not be geuen ouer to another people: yea the same shal breake and destroy al these kingdomes, but it shall endure foreuer.

Thy seate (O God) endureth for euer: the scepter of thy kyngdome is a right scepter.

The sceptre shal not departe from Iuda, nor a ruelar from betwene hys legges, vntyll Sylo come, vnto whome the people shal hark

And the seuenth angell blewe, and there were made greate voyces in heauen, sayinge: the kyngdomes of thys worlde are oure Lordes and hys Christes, & he shall raygne for euer more.

But vnto the sonne he sayeth: God thy seate shall be for euer and euer. The cepter of thy kyngdome is a ryghte ceptre.

The people aunswered hym: We haue hearde oute of the lawe, that Christe bydeth euer: and howe sayest thou then that the sonne of man muste be lyfte vp? who is that sonne of man?

For I wyll defende this cytye and saue it, for myne owne sake, and for Dauid my seruauntes sake.

Thou shalt be feared as longe as the sunne and moone endureth, from one generacyon to another.

And I saye also vnto the that thou arte Peeter: and vpon thys rocke I wil buylde my congregacion. And the gates of hell shall not preuayle against it.

Forgeue the trespace of thine handmaide that the Lorde may make my lord a suer house, because my Lorde fyghteth the battelles of the Lorde, and there coulde none euill be founde in the in all thy lyfe.

And when Nathan had tolde Dauid all these wordes & all thys vysyon,

then I wil stablyshe the seate of thy kyngdome vpon Israell for euer, as I promysed to Dauid thy father, sayinge: Thou shalt not be wythoute one or other vp on the seate of Israell.

Thy sede wyll I stablyshe for euer, and set vp thy trone from one generacyon to another Selah.

then shall there go thorowe the gates of this cytie, kynges and prynces, that shall syt vpon the stole of Dauid: They shall be caried vpon charettes, and ryde vpon horses, both they and their prynces. Yee whole Iuda and all the cytesyns of Ierusalem shall goo here thorowe, and this cytye shall euer be the more and more inhabyted.

For thus the Lorde promyseth: Dauid shal neuer want one, to syt vpon the stole of the house of Israell:

For thy great & manyfolde sauing of thy kyng, & shewynge mercy vnto thyne anointed, euen to Dauid, & his seede for euer.

That the Lorde maye make good his promesse whiche he hath promised me sayinge: yf thy children shal take heede to their wayes, that they walke before me in truthe, with all their hertes and with al their soules, then thou shalt neuer be without one syttynge on the seate of Israell.

Neuerthelather the Lorde wold not destroye Iuda because of Dauid his seruaunt, as he promysed hym to geue hym a lyght in hys chyldren alwaye.

Now Lord God of Israel kepe wt thy seruaunt Dauid my father, that thou promisedest him saying: thou shalt not be without one or other in my sight that shall sitte vpon the seate of Israel. Of this condicion yet, yf thy children will take hede to theyr waies to walcke in my lawe, as thou hast walcked before me.

He turneth not his eyes awaye from the ryghteous, he setteth vp kynges in theyr trone, and confyrmeth them, so that they alway sit there in.

For vnto vs a chylde shalbe borne, and vnto vs a sonne shalbe geuen. Vpon his shoulder shall the kyngedome lye, and he shalbe called with hys owne name. The wonderous geuer of councel, the myghty God, the euerlastinge father, the prynce of peace,

They shal dwel in the lande, that I gaue vnto Iacob my seruaunt, where as youre fathers also haue dwelt. Yea, euen in the same lande shall they, their chyldren, & their childers chyldren dwell for euermore: and my seruaunt Dauid shalbe their euerlastinge prince.
