And there happened to be an vnthryftye felow named Seba the sonne of Bochri a man of Gemini whyche blewe a trompet and sayde: we haue no parte in Dauid, nor inheritaunce in the sonne of Isai, o Israel, let vs depart therfore euery man to hys tent.

And when all Israel sawe that the kynge regarded them not, the people aunswered the kynge agayne sayinge: we haue no parte in Dauid, nor enheritaunce in the sonne of Isai. To youre tentes therfor Israel, & nowe se to thyne owne house Dauid. And so Israell departed vnto theyr tentes.

And when all Israell sawe that the kinge wolde not heare them, the people aunswered the king, sayinge: what parte haue we wyth Dauid or enheritaunce wt the sonne of Isai? let euerye man of Israel go to hys tent. But hys citisens hated hym, and sente messengers after hym, saiynge: we will not haue thys man to reygne ouer vs.

Coales kyndle heate, and wode the fire: euen so doth a braulynge felowe stere vp varyaunce.

Be not hastye to go to the law, lest happely thou order thy selfe so at the laste, that thy neighbour put the to shame.

Great are the troubles of the righteous, but the Lorde delyuereth them out of all.

Vp Lord, disapoynte hym and cast him doune: deliuer my soule with thy swerde from the vngodly.

And Kynge Rehoboam counceled with the elders that stode before Salomon his father whyle he lyued, & sayde: what councell geue ye me, to answere thys people agayne?

When the vnthriftye men are all of them as thornes taken out of their places, whiche can not be taken with handes:

Then Absalom sent spyes thorow out al the trybes of Israel sayinge: as sone as ye heare the voyce of the trompet blowe, saye: Absalom raygneth kynge in Hebron.

Then answered all the wycked and the vnthriftes of the men that went wyth Dauid, and sayde: because they went noth with vs, therfore shall none of the praye that we haue recouered, be geuen vnto them, saue to euery man hys wyfe and his children: whyche let them cary awaye and be walkynge.

But the sonnes of Eli were vnthryftye chyldren, and knewe not the Lorde.

And as they were making their hertes merye, the men of the cytye, whyche were wycked, set the house roundabout, and thrust at the dore, and spake to the man of the house, the olde man saying: brynge forthe the man that came into thyne house, that we may knowe hym.

And when he was come he blew a trompette in mount Ephraim. And the chyldren of Israell went doune wyth him of the hille and he before them.

Peter sayed vnto him: thou shalt not washe my fete whyle the worlde standeth. Iesus aunswered hym: yf I washe the not, thou shalte haue no parte with me.

The chyldren of Beniamin: Bela, Becher, Asbel, Gera, Nacman, Ehi, Ros, Mupim, Hupim and Ard.

he chose him thre thousand men out of Israel. Two thousand were wyth Saul in Machmas & mount Bethel, & a thousande wyth Ionathas in Gabaah Beniamin. And the rest of the people he sent, euery man to hys owne house.

And thus sayde this Semei as he cursed: come forthe, come forthe thou bloudesheder and thou vnthriftye man.

And they toke Absalom & cast him into a great pit that was in the wood and cast a myghty great heape of stones vpon him. And al Israel fled euery man to his tent.

And al Israel went from Dauid and folowed Seba the sonne of Bochri. But the men of Iuda claue fast vnto the kyng, from Iordan to Ierusalem.

And then the woman went vnto all the people in her wysedome. And they smote of the heade of Seba the sonne of Bochri, & cast it to Ioab. And he blewe a trompet, and they skatered from the cytye, euery man to his tent. And Ioab returned to Ierusalem vnto the kynge.

and set two vnthriftes before him: and let them testifye agaynst hym sayinge: thou dyddest curse bothe God and the king: & vpon that carie him out & stone hym to death.

And she wente and came and gathered after the harueste men, and her chaunse was that parte of the felde pertayned vnto Booz whyche was of the kynred of Elymelec.

And Dauid sayde to Abisai, and to all his seruauntes: beholde, my sonne whyche came out of mine owne bowelles seketh my life. How muche more then may thys sonne of Iemini do it? Suffre hym therfore to curse, for the Lorde hath bidden hym:

For if a realme be deuyded agaynst it selfe, that realme can not endure.
