But the heauens verely and earth, which are now are kept by the same worde in store, and reserued vnto fyre, agaynste the daye of iudgemente, and perdycyon of vngodlye men.
Neuertheles the daye of the Lord wyl come as a thiefe in the nyght in the which daye, the heauens shal peryshe wyth terryble noyse, and the elementes shal melte wyth heate, and the earth wyth the workes that are therin shal burne.
Lyfte vp youre eyes towarde heauen, & loke vpon the earthe beneth. For the heauens shall vanyshe awaye lyke smoke, & the earthe shall teare lyke a clothe, & they that dwell therein, shall peryshe in lyke maner. But my healthe endureth for euer, & my ryghtuousnes shall not cease.
Then shall the kinge saye vnto them that shalbe on the lyfte hande. Departe from me ye cursed, into euerlastinge fyre, which is prepared for the deuyll and hys angels.
euen as Sodome and Gomor, and the cytyes about them (which in lyke maner defyled them selues with fornicacyon, and folowed straunge fleshe) are sette forth for an ensample, and suffer the vengeaunce of eternal fyre.
Let no man deceyue you by any meanes, for the Lord commeth not, except there come a departyng first, and that, that sinful man be opened, the sonne of perdicyon
But thou after thyne harde herte that can not repente, heapeste the together the treasure of wrath againste the daye of vengaunce, when shall be opened the rightuous iudgement of God,
And whosoeuer shal not receyue you nor heare you, when ye departe thence, shake of the dust: that is vnder your fete, for a witnesse vnto them. I say verely vnto you, it shalbe easier for Zodome and Gomoree at the daye of iudgement, then for that citie.
Therfore ye shall wayte vpon me (sayeth the Lord) vntil the tyme that I stand vp: for I am determed, to gather the people & to bring the kingedoms together, that I may poure oute myne anger, yea, al my wrothfull displeasure vpon them. For all the worlde shalbe consumed wyth the fyre of my gelousy.
The beaste that thou seest, was, & is not, & shal ascende out of the bottomlesse pyt, & shal go into perdition, and they that dwel on the earth, shal wondre (whose names are not wrytten in the boke of lyfe from the beginninge of the worlde) when they beholde the beaste that was, and is not.
For behold the Lorde shall come with fyre, and hys charet shalbe lyke a whirle winde, that he maye recompence his vengeaunce in his wrath and hys indignacyon wt the flamme of fyre.
I loked tyl the seates were prepared, and tyll the olde aged sat hym doune. His clothynge was as whyte as snowe, and the hearres of hys heade, lyke the pure woll. His trone was lyke the fyrye flamme, and his wheles as the burnynge fyre.
For marck, the day commeth, that shall burne as an ouen: and al the proude, yea and al such as do wickednesse, shalbe straw: and the daye that is for to come, shall burne them vp (sayeth the Lorde of hostes) so that it shall leaue them neyther rote nor braunche.
