We haue also a ryght sure worde of prophesye, whervnto yf ye take hede, as vnto a light, that shineth in a darcke place, ye do wel vntyll the daye dawne, and the daye starre aryse in youre hertes.

I Iesus sent myne angell, to testifye vnto you these thinges in the congregacyons. I am the rote and the generacion of Dauid and the bryghte mornyng starre.

Neuertheles the people that haue dwelt in darcknesse, shall se a greate lyght. As for them that dwell in the lande of the shadowe of death, vpon them shall the lyght shyne.

Nun. Thy woorde is a lanterne vnto my fete and a light vnto my pathes.

Searche the sciptures, for in them ye thinke ye haue eternall lyfe: and they are they which testifye of me.

so wyll I geue him, the morninge starre.

Yf any man want lyght, let hym loke vpon the lawe and the testimony, whether they speake not after thys meaninge.

For the commaundement is a lanterne, and the lawe a lyghtie, a chastening, and nurtour is the waye of lyfe:

He was a burninge and a shyninge lyght and ye woulde for a season haue reioysed in his lyght:

the people which sate in darkenes, sawe great light, & to them which sate in the regyon and shadowe of death, light is begonne to shine.

Then spake Iesus agayne vnto them, saiynge. I am the lyghte of the worlde. He that foloweth me, shall not walke in darkenes: but shall haue the lyghte of lyfe.

He that beleueth on the sonne of God, hath the wytnes in him selfe. He that beleued not God, hath made hym a lyar, because he beleued not the recorde, that God gaue of hys sonne.

Of whiche saluacyon haue the Prophetes enquyred and searched, whiche prophesyed of the grace that shoulde come vnto you,

Yf ye fulfyll the royall lawe accordynge to the scripture whiche sayeth. Thou shalte loue thyne neyghboure as thy self, ye do wel.

These were the noblest of byrthe among them of Thessalonia whiche receyued the worde with al diligence of mynde, and searched the scriptures daylye whether those thynges were euen so.

that is to saye that ye abstayne from thynges offered to ymages, from bloude, from strangled and fornicacion. From which yf ye kepe your selues ye shall do well. So fare ye well.

whiche beare wytnes of thy loue before all the congregacion. Whiche brethren when thou bringest forwards on their iourney (as it besemeth God) thou shalt do wel,

Who tolde that afore? So wyll we confesse and saye, that he is rightuous: But there is none that sheweth or declareth any thynge, there is none also that heareth youre wordes.

How art thou fallen from heauen (O Lucifer) thou faire mornyng childe? hast thou gotten a fal euen to the ground, thou that (not withstanding) diddest subdue the people.

For yf the word which was spoken by Angels was stedfast, so that euery transgression and disobedience receyued a iuste recompence to rewarde,
