For we folowed not deceiuable fables, when we opened vnto you the power and comminge of our Lord Iesus Christ, but wyth our eyes we saw his maieste, euen then verelye,
And the worde was made flesh & dwelt amonge vs, and we sawe the glorye of it, as the glory of the onlye begotten sonne of the father, which worde was ful of grace & verite.
That we henceforth be no more chyldren, waueringe and caryed wyth euerye wynde of doctryne, by the wylynes of men and craftynes, wherby they laye awayte for vs to deceyue vs.
For Christe sente me not to baptyse, but to preache the gospel, not with wysdom of wordes leaste the crosse of Christe shoulde haue bene made of none effecte.
but haue caste from vs the clokes of vnhonestye, and walke not in craftynes, neyther corrupte we the word of God: but walke in open trueth, & reporte our selues to euerye mans conscience in the syght of God.
For we are not as many are which choppe & chaunge with the worde of god: but euen out of purenes, and by the power of God, and in the syghte of God, so speake we in Christe.
whiche shal chaunge oure vyle bodies, that they maie be fashioned like vnto his glorious bodie, accordinge to the working, wherby he is able to subdue all thinges vnto him selfe.
and declared to be the sonne of God, wyth power of the holye ghoste that sanctifyeth, sence the tyme that Iesus Christ our Lorde rose againe from death,
And as he sate vpon the mounte Oliuet: his disciples came vnto him secretlye saying. Tell vs when these thinges shalbe: and what sygne shalbe of thy comminge and of the ende of the worlde?
Verely I saye vnto you, some there be among them that here stande, whiche shall not taste of death, till they shall haue sene the sonne of man come in hys kyngdom.
