And the Lord sayd vnto Moses. Behold, thy dayes are come that thou must dye. Cal Iosua and come and stand in the tabernacle of wytnes, that I may giue hym a charge. And Moses and Iosua went and stode in the tabernacle of witnes.
Beholde I walke thys daye, by the waye of all the worlde: call ye to mynde in all your hertes and in all your soules, that nothynge hath fayled of all the good thynges whiche the Lord your God promysed you. All are come to passe, and nothyng hath fayled therof.
Myne age is folden vp together, and taken awaye fro me, lyke a shepherdes cotage: my lyfe is hewen of, lyke as a weeuer cutteth of his webb. Whyle I was yet takynge my rest, he hewed me of, & made an ende of me in one day.
Simon Peter sayed vnto hym. Lorde whyther goest thou? Iesus aunswered hym: Whether I go thou canste not folowe me now, but thou shalt folow me afterwarde.
We knowe surelye yf oure earthy mansyon wherin we nowe dwell were destroyed, that we haue a buyldynge ordeyned of God an habitacyon not made with handes, but eternall in heauen.
