Simon Peter a seruaunte, and an Apostle of Iesus Christe, to them whyche haue obtained lyke precyous faith wyth vs in the rightuousnes that commeth of oure God and sauiour Iesu Christ.

To Titus hys naturall sonne in the common fayth. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the father and from the Lorde Iesu Christe oure sauyoure.

Seynge then we haue the same spirite of fayth, accordynge as it is writen: I beleued, & therfor haue I spoken. We also beleue, & therfore speake.

If any man minister vnto me, let hym folowe me, and where I am, there shal also my minister be. And yf any man minister vnto me, hym wyll my father honoure.

that is that I might haue consolacion together wyth you through the common fayth, whiche both ye and I haue.

by the meanes, wherof are geuen vnto vs excellent and most great promises, that by the helpe of them ye should be partakers of the godly nature, in that ye flee the corruption of worldelye luste.

And the very same made some Apostles, some Prophetes, some Euangelistes, some sheperdes, some teachers,

And my sprete reioyceth in God my sauiour.

The elders whiche are amonge you, I exhorte, whiche am also an elder, and a wytnes of the affliccions of Christe, and also a partaker of the glory that shallbe opened,

when I call to remembraunce the vnfayned fayth, that is in the, whiche dwelte fyrste in thy graundmother Loys, and in thy mother Eunica: and am assured that it dwelleth in the also.

and might be founde in hym, not hauinge mine owne rightuousnes, which is of the lawe, but that whyche spryngeth of the fayth, is in CHRISTE. I meane the rightuousnes, whiche commeth of God thorowe fait

Simon told, how God at the beginnynge dyd visite the gentyls, and receyued of them people vnto hys name.

The names of the .xij. Apostles are these. The fyrst Simon called also Peter: and Andrewe his brother. Iames the sonne of Zebede, and Iohn his brother:

Vnto you therfor whiche beleue, he is precyous, but vnto them whiche beleue not, the stone whiche the buylders refused the same is made the head stone in the corner,

that youre faythe ones tryed beynge muche more precyous, then golde that perysheth (though it be tryed with fyre) myghte be founde vnto laude, glory, and honoure, at the apearynge of Iesus Christ

Paule the seruaunt of God and an Apostle of Iesu Christ, to preache the faythe, of Goddes elect, & the knowledge of that truethe, whiche is after Godlynes,

For vnto you it is geuen, that not onely ye should beleue on Christ, but also suffre for his sake,

Let there be but one Lorde, one fayth, one baptysme,

Which mysterye in tymes passed was not opened to the sonnes of men, as it is now declared vnto his holye Apostles and Prophetes by the spyrite

for he that was mighty in Peter in the Apostleshyppe ouer the circumcisyon the same was myghty in me amonge the Gentyls,

for he hath made hym to be synne for vs, whiche knewe no synne, that we by hys meanes should be that ryghtuousnes whiche before God is allowed.

For I am the leste of al the Apostles, whiche am not worthy to be called an Apostle, because I persecuted the congregation of God.

Am I not an Apostle? am I not free? haue I not sene Iesus Christ our Lorde?

And vnto him partaine ye in Christe Iesus, whiche of God is made to vs wysdome, and also rightuousnes, and sanctifiynge and redemption.

For by it the rightuousnes, which commeth of God is opened from fayth to fayth.

Then sayde Iesus to them agayne: peace be with you. As my father sente me euen so sende I you.

and brought him to Iesus. And Iesus behelde him and saide: thou art Simon the sonne of Ionas, thou shalt be called Cephas: which is by interpretacion, a stone.

Therfore sayde the wysdome of God: I wyll send them Prophetes and Apostles, and of them they shall slea and persecute,

As Iesus walked by the sea of Galile, he sawe two brethren: Symon which was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fysshers,

In those dayes shal Iuda be helped, and Ierusalem shall dwel safe, and he that shal cal her, is euen God our ryghteous maker.

Beholde, God is my health, in whom I trust, & am not afraid. For the Lorde God is my strength and my praise, he also shalbe my refuge.

Paule and Tymotheus the seruauntes of Iesu Christe. To all the sainctes in Christe Iesu, which are at Philippos, wyth the Bishops and Deacons.

Iames the seruaunte of God and of the Lorde Iesus Christ sendeth gretyng to the twelue trybes whiche are scattered here and there.

Iudas the seruaunte of Iesus Christ, the brother of Iames. To them whyche are called & sanctyfied in God the father, and preserued in Iesu Christe.
