And this is the loue, that we shoulde walke after his commaundementes. Thys commaundemente is (that as ye haue hearde from the beginninge) ye shoulde walke in it.

This is the loue of God, that we kepe his commaundementes, and his commaundementes are not greuous.

Let therfore abyde in you that same, whiche ye hearde from the beginninge, shall remaine in you, ye also shal continue in the sonne, and in the father.

Whosoeuer kepeth his worde, in him is the loue of God, perfecte in dede. And there by knowe we that we are in him.

Yf ye shal kepe my commaundementes, ye shall byde in my loue, euen as I haue kepte my fathers commaundementes, and abyde in hys loue.

Yf ye loue me, kepe my commaundementes

Ye are my frendes, yf ye do whatsoeuer I commaunde you.

He that hathe my commaundementes and kepeth them, the same is he that loueth me. And he that loueth me, shal be loued of my father: And I will loue hym, and will shewe myne owne selfe to him.

And yf we knowe that he heareth vs whatsoeuer we axe, we knowe, that we shall haue the peticyons that we desyre of hym.

And nowe beseche I the Ladye, not as though I wrote a newe commaundemente vnto the, but that same which we had from the beginning, that we should loue one another.

For ye muste walke after the Lord your God & feare him & kepe hys commaundementes & herken vnto his voyce, & serue him & cleaue vnto him.

Iesus aunswered and sayd vnto hym, yf a man loue me, and will kepe my saiynges, my father also will loue hym & we will come vnto hym, and will dwell to hym.

Brethren I wryte no newe commaundemente vnto you, but that olde commaundemente, which ye hearde from the beginning.
