He wil kepe the fete of his sainctes, but the wicked shal kepe silence in darkenesse. For in his own myght shal no man be strong.

He wyll not suffer thy fote to be moued, and he that kepeth the slepeth not.

whiche are kept by the power of God thorowe fayth, vnto saluacyon, whiche saluacyon is prepared all ready to be shewed in the laste tyme,

He aunswered, and sayde vnto me: Thys is the word of the Lorde vnto Zorobabel, saying: Nether thorowe an hoste of men, nor thorow strength, but thorowe my sprete, sayeth the Lorde of hoostes.

O ye that loue the lorde, se that ye hate that thyng whiche is euell: the lorde preserueth the soules of his saynctes, he shall deliuer them from the hande of the vngodly.

When I sayde: my fote hath slypped, thy mercy (O Lord) helde me vp.

For the Lorde loueth the thynge that is ryght, he forsaketh not hys sainctes, but thei shalbe preserued for euermore: as for the sede of the vngodly, it shalbe roted out.

Ye thou shalt knowe, that thy dwellinge place shalbe in reste: thou shalt beholde thy substaunce, & be nomore punished for synne

How loued he the people? Al his saintes are in hys hande. They ioyned theym selues vnto thy fote, and receyued thy wordes.

A man deuyseth awaye in his herte, but it is the Lorde that ordreth hys goynges.

The Lorde preserueth thy goyng out and thy commynge in, from thys tyme forth for euer more.

These are welles wythout water, & cloudes caried about of a tempest, to whom the miste of darkenes is reserued for euer.

and the children of the kingdome shall be cast out in the vtter darkenes: there shalbe wepinge and gnashynge of teth.

for that daye is a daye of wrath, a daye of trouble and heuinesse, a daye of vtter destruccyon & mysery, a darcke & glomyng daye, a cloudy and stormy daye,

So I turned me vnto other thynges vnder the Sonne, and I sawe, that in runnyng, it helpeth not to be swift: in battayll, it helpeth not to be stronge, to fedynge, it helpeth not to be wyse: to ryches, it helpeth not to be suttell: to be had in fauoure, it helpeth not to be cunnynge: but that all lyeth in tyme and fortune.

For the Lorde shal be besiege the, and kepe thy fote that thou be not taken.

All the dayes of his life also muste he eate in the darke, with greate carefulnesse, syckenesse and sorowe.

he kepeth them in the right path, & preserueth the waye of his saynctes.

The Lorde him selfe is thy keper, the Lorde is thy defence vpon thy ryght hande.

They are the ragynge waues of the sea, fomyng out theyr owne shame. They are wandryng starres to whome is reserued the myste of darcknes for euer.

Beloued, when I gaue all dylygence to wryte vnto you of the commen saluacyon: it was nedefull for me to wryte vnto you, to exhorte you, that ye should contynuallye labour in the faythe whiche was ones geuen vnto the saynctes.

Moreouer, thus sayeth the Lorde: Let not the wyse man reioyse in his wisdome, nor the stronge man in hys strength, neyther the ryche man in hys ryches:

why prolong we the tyme? Let vs gather our selues together, & go into the stronge cytye, there shall we be in reste: For the Lorde oure God hath put vs to sylence, and geuen vs water myxte with gal, to drincke: because we haue synned agaynst hym.

Let me not be confounded, O Lorde, for I calle vpon the: lette the vngodlye rather be put to confusyon, and broughte vnto the hell.

I the Lorde kepe it, and water in it due ceason. I watche daye and nyght, that no man breake into it. I beare no euil wil in my mynd.

And nowe my lord as sure as the lorde lyueth and as thy soule lyueth, the Lorde hathe witholden the from commyng to shede bloud and from aduenging thy self with thine own hande. Forthermore I praye God that thyne enemies and they that entende to do my Lord euyl, may be as Nabal.

caste them doune vnto the myre. and couer theyr faces wt darckenesse.

For the Lorde aloweth the waye of the righteous, but the waye of the vngodly shal peryshe.

He broughte them forth wyth syluer and gold, ther was not one feble person amonge theyr trybes.

The Lord preserueth all theym that loue hym, but scatreth abroade all the vngodly.

Syt styll, holde thy tunge, & get the in to some darcke corner, O daughter Chaldea, for thou shalt nomore be called lady of kyngdomes.

when the floude renneth ouer, and destroyeth the place, and when the darcknesse foloweth styll vpon his enemyes.
