Se nowe howe that I, I am he, and that there is no God but I. I can kyll and make a lyue, and what I haue smytten that I can heale: neyther is there that can deliuer anye man out of my hande.

But as for thy dead men and oures, that be departed, they are in lyfe and resurreccion. They lye in the earthe, they wake, & haue ioy: for thy dewe is a dew of lyfe and light. But the place of the malycyous Tyrauntes is fallen awaye.

And when the kinge of Israell had reade the letter, he rent hys clothes & sayed: am I God to sley and to make aliue? that he should sende to me, for to delyuer a man from his leprosye. But consyder I praye you and se, howe he piked quarels with me.

and am alyue, and was dead. And beholde I am alyue for euer more and haue the kayes of hell, & of death.

For though he make a wound, he geueth a medicine againe: though he smyte, hys hande maketh whole agayne.

Iesus sayed vnto her: I am the resurreccion and the lyfe. He that beleueth on me, ye though he were dead, yet shall he lyue.

For as Ionas was thre dayes and thre nyghtes in the whales bellye: so shall the sonne of man be thre dayes and thre nyghtes in the herte of the earth.

The snares of death compased me round aboute, the paynes of hell gat hold vpon me I founde trouble and heauynesse.

And Dauid sware agayne and sayde: thy father knoweth that I haue founde grace in thyne eyes and therfore he thinketh, Ionathas shall not know it, leste he be sorye. For in very dede, euen as truly as the Lorde lyueth and as truely as thy soule lyueth, there is but a steppe betwene me and death.

The God that is our sauiour, euen God the Lord by whome we escape death.

A tyme to slay, and a tyme to make whole. A time to breake down, & a time to bild vp.

Then sayde he vnto me: Thou sonne of man: thinkest thou these bones maye lyue agayne? I answered: O Lorde God, thou knowest.

Therfore prophecye thou, & speake vnto them: thus sayeth the Lord God: Beholde, I wyll open youre graues (O my people) & take you out of youre sepulcres, & bringe you in to the lande of Israel agayne.

And the Lorde hearde the voyce of Eliah, and the soule of the lad came into hym agayne, and he reuiued.

Singe prayses vnto the Lord (O ye saintes of hys) geue thankes vnto hym for a remembraunce of hys holynesse.

O what great troubles and aduersityes hast thou shewed me? and yet dyddest thou turne and refreshe me: yea, & broughtest me from the depe of the earth agayn.
