Lykewyse ye yonger submit youre selues vnto the elder. Submit youre selues euerye man, one to another, knyt youre selues together in lowlines of mynde. For God resisteth the proude & geueth grace to humble.

Obeye them that haue the ouersyghte of you, and submyt your selues to them, for they watche for youre soules, euen as they that muste geue accomptes: that they maye do it wyth ioye, and not wyth griefe. For that is an vnprofytable thynge for you.

Thou shalt ryse vp before the hoorehed, & reuerence the face of the olde man & dread thy god, for I am the Lorde.

For as much as Christ hath suffred for vs in the fleshe, arme your selues lykewise wyth the same mynde: for he which suffereth in the fleshe ceaseth from synne,

Let thy Preastes be clothed wyth rightuousnesse, and let thy saynctes reioyse.

And why? I put vpon me ryghteousnes, whyche couered me as a garment, and equyte was my croune.

For who so humbleth hym selfe, him shall he set vp: and who so loketh mekely, shalbe healed.

And therfore I am ioyful in the Lorde, and my soule reioyseth in my God. For he shall put vpon me the garment of health, & couer me with the mantle of righteousnes. He shal decke me lyke a brydegrom, and as a bryde that hath her apparell vpon her.

And now vp Lorde God in thy restynge place: both thou and the arcke of thy strengthe, and let thy priestes put on vyctorye and thy saynctes reioyse in goodnesse.

I wyl decke her Preastes with health and her saynctes shall reioyse and be glad.

For though the Lorde be hye, yet hath he respecte vnto the lowly: as for the proude, he beholdeth theim a farre of.

Al kinges of the sea shall come doun from their seates regal, they shal laye awaye their roabes, & put of their costly clothinge. Yea with tremblinge shal they be clothed, they shall syt vpon the ground: they shalbe afrayed at thy soden fall, and be abashed at the.

But ye shall not be so. But he that is greatest amonge you, shalbe as the yongest: and he that is chiefe shal be as the minister.

Rebuke not an elder: but exhorte hym as a father, and the yonger men as brethren

In conclusyon be ye all of one mynd, one suffer wyth another, loue as brethren, be petifull, be curteous,

Better is it that it be sayde vnto the: come vp hyther, then thou to be set doun in the presence of the prince whom thou seist with thine eyes.

these shall he cary awaye with greate pryde, for so muche as he hath cast doune so many thousandes, neuertheles he shall not preuayle.
