And ye knowe that he appered to take awaye oure synnes, & in him is no sinne.

for he hath made hym to be synne for vs, whiche knewe no synne, that we by hys meanes should be that ryghtuousnes whiche before God is allowed.

euen so Christ was ones offered to take away the synnes of many, and vnto them that loke for hym, shall he appere agayne wythoute synne vnto saluacyon.

For as much as Christ hath ones suffered for sinners, the iuste for the vniuste, for to bringe vs to God, and was kylled, as perteininge to the fleshe: but was quickened in the spirite.

but and yf we walke (in light) euen as he is in lighte, then haue we felowshyppe wyth hym, and the bloude of Iesus Christe his sonne clenseth vs from all sinne.

For the life appeared, and we haue sene, and beare wytnes, and shewe vnto you that eternall lyfe, whyche was wyth the father, and appeared to vs.

whiche gaue hym selfe for vs, to redeme vs from al vnryghtuousnes and to pourge vs a peculyar people vnto him selfe, feruently geuen vnto good workes.

whiche dyd no synne, neyther was there gyle founde in hys mouth:

Whyche sonne beyng the bryghtnes of hys glorye, and verye Image of his substaunce, bearinge vp al thinges wyth the worde of hys power, hath in his owne persone pourged our synnes, and is sitting on the right hand of the maiestie on hygh,

Thys is a true saiynge and by all meanes worthy to be receyued, that Christ Iesus came into the worlde to saue synners, of whom I am chiefe.

She shall bryngforth a sonne, & thou shalt cal his name Iesus. For he shal saue his people from their sins.

My lytle chyldren, these thinges wryte I vnto you, that ye sinne not, yf anye man synne, yet we haue an aduocate with the father, Iesus Christe, whiche is rightuouse,

whiche was ordeyned before the worlde was made, but was declared in the laste tymes for youre sakes,

For we haue not an hye prieste, whiche can not haue compassion on our infirmities, but was in all pointes tempted, lyke as we are, but yet without sinne.

Suche an hye Prieste it became vs to haue which is holy, harmlesse, vndefyled, separate from synners, and made hyer then heauen.

And wythout naye greate is that mysterye of godlynes: God was shewed in the fleshe, was iustified in the spirite, was sene of aungels, was preached vnto the gentils, was beleued on in earth and receyued vp in glory.

Here after will I not talke manye wordes vnto you. For the ruler of thys world cometh and hath noughte in me.

Which of you can rebuke me of synne? Yf I saye the truth, why do not ye beleue me?

and I knowe him not: but that he shoulde be declared to Israel, therfore am I come baptysynge with water.

When the Centurion sawe what had happened, he gloryfyed God saiynge: Of a suretye this man was perfecte.

We are ryghtuously punished, for we receyued accordinge to our dedes. But this man hath done nothinge amisse.

Take these wordes with you, when ye turne to the Lorde, & saye vnto him: O forgeue vs all our sinnes, receyue vs gracyouslye, and then wyl we offre the bullockes of oure lyppes vnto the.

For as muche as ye know howe that ye were not redemed wyth corruptyble syluer and golde, from youre vayne conuersacyon whiche ye receyued by the tradicyons of the fathers:

and he it is that obtayned grace for our sinnes, not for oure sinnes onelye, but also for the synnes of al the worlde.

If ye knowe that he is rightuous, knowe also that he whiche foloweth rightuousnes, is borne of hym.

He that committeth sinne, is of the deuil, for the deuil sinneth sence the beginninge. For this purpose appered the sonne of God to lowse the workes of the deuil.
