The LORD has taken away your judgments, he has cast out your enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of you: you shall not see evil any more.
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears off from all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from all the earth: for the LORD has spoken it.
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Thus says your Lord the LORD, and your God who pleads the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; you shall no more drink it again:
Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of those who dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their sculptured images, and with strange vanities?
Neither will I cause men to hear in you the shame of the heathen any more, neither shall you bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shall you cause your nations to fall any more, says the Lord GOD.
So shall you know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and no strangers shall pass through her any more.
Then she who is my enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said to me, Where is the LORD your God? my eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down like the mire of the streets.
For the violence of Lebanon shall cover you, and the destruction of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all who dwell in it.
Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the people shall plunder you; because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all who dwell in it.
The LORD your God in the midst of you is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.
The just LORD is in the midst of her; he will not do iniquity: every morning he brings his judgment to light, he never fails; but the unjust knows no shame.
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all who burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes to you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt the foal of a donkey.
I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the Father who has sent me.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now have come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is thrown down, who accused them before our God day and night.
