How can you say, We are mighty and strong men for war?

We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceedingly proud) his loftiness, and his arrogance, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.

Her filthiness is in her skirts; she does not remember her latter end; therefore she was brought down as if by a miracle: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy has magnified himself.

For thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with your feet, and rejoiced in heart with all your contempt against the land of Israel;

Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and his ways justice: and those who walk in pride he is able to bring low.

In the day that you stood on the other side, in the day that the strangers took away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even you were as one of them.

The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; who says in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, by which they have reproached my people, and boasted themselves against their border.

Likewise, you younger, submit yourselves to the elder. Yes, all of you be subject to one another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.
