Yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

And the LORD shall completely destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall strike it in the seven streams, and make men go over dry shod.

Cry out and shout, you inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of you.

Woe to you that plunder, and you were not plundered; and deal treacherously, and they did not deal treacherously with you! when you shall cease to plunder, you shall be plundered; and when you shall make an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with you.

But there the glorious LORD will be to us a place of broad rivers and streams; in which shall go no galley with oars, neither shall splendid ships pass by there.

Your cords are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the wealth of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.

And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for above all the glory shall be a protection.

Come near to me, and hear this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, have sent me.

Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light to you: but the LORD shall be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.

And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land comes: and then many nations and great kings shall be served by him.

The prophet which prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD has truly sent him.

Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of those who dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their sculptured images, and with strange vanities?

So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them, says the Lord GOD.

And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

For the violence of Lebanon shall cover you, and the destruction of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all who dwell in it.

Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the people shall plunder you; because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all who dwell in it.

Therefore as I live, says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be like Sodom, and the children of Ammon like Gomorrah, even for the growing of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation: the remainder of my people shall plunder them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

The LORD has taken away your judgments, he has cast out your enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of you: you shall not see evil any more.

And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

For thus says the LORD of hosts; After the glory of his deliverance he has sent me to the nations which plundered you: for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

And those who are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And this shall come to pass, if you will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.

Now I tell you before it happens, that, when it has come to pass, you may believe that I am he.

But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you.
