And he said, Listen, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat, Thus says the LORD to you, Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
And I looked, and rose up, and said to the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not afraid of them: remember the Lord, who is great and terrible, and fight for your kindred, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her stronghold, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.
I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and they have divided up my land.
Behold, at that time I will ruin all who afflict you: and I will save her who limps, and gather her who was driven out; and I will bring them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.
And the LORD overcame them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goes up to Beth-horon, and struck them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.
