In that day, says the LORD, I will strike every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open my eyes upon the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the people with blindness.

Turn your ear, O LORD, and hear; open your eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, who has sent to reproach the living God.

For I will set my eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

And I will turn you back, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

Thus you shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, says the Lord GOD.

O my God, turn your ear, and hear; open your eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by your name: for we do not present our supplications before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercies.

And they shall be like mighty men, who tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be put to shame.

In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all who burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

In that day will I make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the donkey, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, like this plague.

And I will encamp around my house because of the army, because of him who passes by, and because of him who returns: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with my eyes.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men everywhere to repent:

The LORD shall strike you with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
