What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who did not follow after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
By faith Noah, being warned by God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but through the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified through the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached beforehand the gospel to Abraham, saying, In you shall all nations be blessed.
For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his descendents through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Does this blessedness then come upon the circumcision only, or also upon the uncircumcision? For we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness.
