And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.

And so you shall do the seventh day of the month for every one who errs, and for him who is unknowing: so shall you reconcile the house.

Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

And this is the will of him who sent me, that every one who sees the Son, and believes in him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

As the living Father has sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by me.

Concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but concerning the selection, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.

And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

He who did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Because the carnal mind is at enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God pleaded with you by us: we appeal to you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

And that he might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Among whom also we all had our conduct in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Therefore in all things it was necessary for him to be made like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Therefore he is able also to save to the greatest extent those who come to God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

My little children, these things I write to you so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to satisfy justice for our sins.

I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
