Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

But our God is in the heavens: he has done whatever he has pleased.

Ah Lord GOD! behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

Seeing that many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

And blessed is she who believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Who are you who judge another man’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Yes, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand.

One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let everyone be fully persuaded in his own mind.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

And God is able to make every grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

For which reason I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him until that day.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from which also he received him in a figure.
