And Abraham was ninety nine years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong to God: he is greatly exalted.

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.

Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, Truly my sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am the LORD that sanctifies you.

It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them.

And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am the LORD your God.

And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

And I say to you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

And Jesus said to him, This day has salvation come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.

He that has received his testimony has set to his seal that God is true.

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life: and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God remains on him.

And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life: he who comes to me shall never hunger; and he who believes in me shall never thirst.

And this is the will of him who sent me, that every one who sees the Son, and believes in him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Truly, truly, I say to you, He who believes in me has everlasting life.

They answered him, We are Abraham’s descendents, and were never in bondage to anyone: how can you say, You shall be made free?

For the scripture says, Whoever believes in him shall not be ashamed.

For Christ is the purpose of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

But the righteousness which is of faith speaks in this way, Do not say in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Even the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ to all and upon all those who believe: for there is no difference:

To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him who believes in Jesus.

Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

How was it then accounted? When he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who did not follow after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense: and whoever believes in him shall not be ashamed.

But it is not as though the word of God has had no effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Who has also sealed us, and given the guarantee of the Spirit in our hearts.

But the scripture has included all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

And if you are Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s offspring, and heirs according to the promise.

Know therefore that those who are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

In whom you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after you believed, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by which you are sealed for the day of redemption.

And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your descendents, to love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.

And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

By faith Noah, being warned by God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads.
