And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.

Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred with it.

Test your servants, I plead with you, ten days; and let them give us vegetables to eat, and water to drink.

Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not for doubtful controversies.

Do not destroy the work of God over food. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eats and brings stumbling.

We then who are strong ought to bear with the concerns of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Whatever is sold in the meat market, that eat, asking no question for conscience’ sake:

But be careful so that this liberty of yours does not by any means become a stumbling block to those who are weak.

To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

For before certain ones came from James, he ate with the Gentiles: but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision.

For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused, if it is received with thanksgiving:

To the pure all things are pure: but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing for the heart to be established with grace, not with foods, which have not benefited those who have been occupied with them.

Which were only concerned with foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
