Let us not therefore judge one another any longer: but determine this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born to you shall surely die.

And shall say, Build up, build up, prepare the way, take the stumbling block out of the way of my people.

Give no offense, either to the Jews, or to the Gentiles, or to the church of God:

Judge for yourselves: is it suitable that a woman prays to God uncovered?

For the love of Christ constrains us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then all were dead:

Giving no offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be blamed:

That you may approve things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ;

I desire therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the household, give no occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

Are you not then biased within yourselves, and have become judges having evil thoughts?

Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He that speaks evil of his brother, and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law, and judges the law: but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

He who loves his brother continues in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.

But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.
