But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will show them no favor.

But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a linden tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them when they drop their leaves: so the holy people shall be the substance thereof.

The LORD called your name, A green olive tree, fair, and of attractive fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he has kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows.

And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side of it.

Therefore I say to you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.

Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purifies it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

If a man does not abide in me, he is thrown away as a branch, and withers; and men gather them, and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and sharers in his promise in Christ by the gospel:

A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive oil, and honey;

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he made alive together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
