Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren in Christ, that I often intended to come to you, (but have been prevented thus far,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

And when he had greeted them, he declared in detail what things God had done among the Gentiles by his ministry.

Where we found believers, and were requested to stay with them seven days: and so we went toward Rome.

That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion; that blindness in part has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Do you not know, brethren, (for I speak to those who know the law,) how the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Moreover, brethren, I do not desire you to be ignorant that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

Brethren, do not be children in understanding: however in malice you should be children, but in understanding you should be men.

How is it then, brethren? When you come together, every one of you has a hymn, a teaching, a tongue, a revelation, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for edifying.

If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you: for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed beyond measure, above our strength, so that we despaired even of life:

Now thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes known the fragrance of his knowledge by us in every place.

Brethren, I speak according to the manner of men; Though it is only a man’s covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no man cancels it, or adds to it.

Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I know not.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

That you might walk worthy of the Lord for all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Which has come to you, as it is in all the world; and brings forth fruit, as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

Therefore we would have come to you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, so that you do not sorrow, even as others who have no hope.

For the mystery of iniquity already works: only he who now restrains will restrain, until he is taken out of the way.

Nevertheless the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
