And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, with the appearance of transparent glass.
And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.
And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bore twelve kinds of fruit, and yielded its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
And before the throne there was a sea of glass like crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes in front and in back.
