And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
And behold another beast, a second, like a bear, and it raised itself up on one side, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth: and they said thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh.
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
And they threw dust on their heads, and cried out, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, in which all were made rich who had ships in the sea because of her magnificence! For in one hour is she made desolate.
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be completely burned up with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her.
That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
