So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beer-sheba seventy thousand men.
If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blight, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities; whatever plague, whatever sickness there be;
For man also does not know his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
