You carry them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which grows up.
He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
Which were cut down before the time, whose foundation was overflowed with a flood:
They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it.
They have passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that speeds to the prey.
As a dream when one awakes; so, O Lord, when you awake, you shall despise their image.
