Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he comes to judge the earth.

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

God is known in her palaces as a refuge.

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

Trust in him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Let the people praise you, O God; let all the people praise you.

Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God examines the hearts and thoughts.

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigns: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

Before the LORD; for he comes to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe.

And a man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a shelter from the storm; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to both houses of Israel, for a trap and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who trust in him.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to you; how often would I have gathered your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not!

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before you; and shall say, Destroy them.

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
