Let my prayer come before you: turn your ear to my cry;
If any man trespasses against his neighbor, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath comes before your altar in this house:
I came before the dawning of the morning, and cried out: I hoped in your word.
But you are holy, O you who dwell in the praises of Israel.
Bow down your ear to me; deliver me speedily: be my strong rock, for a house of defense to save me.
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before you; according to the greatness of your power preserve those that are appointed to die;
Be merciful to me, O Lord: for I cry to you daily.
Also when I cry and shout, he shuts out my prayer.
