Remember your congregation, which you have purchased of old; the rod of your inheritance, which you have redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein you have dwelt.
Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of your arm they shall be as still as a stone; till your people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which you have purchased.
Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: you who make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
O LORD, why have you caused us to err from your ways, and hardened our heart from your fear? Return for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
Be careful therefore of yourselves, and of all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which the Lord has purchased with his own blood.
But the LORD has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as you are this day.
I prayed therefore to the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, do not destroy your people and your inheritance, which you have redeemed through your greatness, which you have brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
