And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who has not left my master destitute of his mercy and his truth: I being on the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brothers.
And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favor in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
And the king said to Esther at the banquet of wine, What is your petition? and it shall be granted you: and what is your request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
And the king said again to Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is your petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted you: and what is your request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto you in a time when you may be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near to him.
Thus says the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you: and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause the desolate inheritances to be inhabited;
(For he says, I have heard you in a time that is accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to him that was able to save him from death, and was heard out of his fear;
Ask your young men, and they will tell you. Therefore let the young men find favor in your eyes: for we come at a favorable time: give, I pray you, whatever comes to your hand to your servants, and to your son David.
