Who imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.

I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.

For they intended evil against you: they imagined a mischievous plan, which they are not able to perform.

How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

How long will you sleep, O sluggard? when will you arise out of your sleep?

O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your vain thoughts reside within you?

Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet they imagine mischief against me.

Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to me.

And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.

David said furthermore, As the LORD lives, the LORD shall strike him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.
