I plead with you, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight. And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

My eye also is dim because of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.

So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.

When I kept silence, my bones grew old through my roaring all the day long.

My heart pants, my strength fails me: as for the light of my eyes, it also is gone from me.

Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head: those who would destroy me, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I did not take away.

My eye mourns because of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon you, I have stretched out my hands to you.

You said, Woe is me now! for the LORD has added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.

For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.
