He does not delight in the strength of the horse: he does not take pleasure in the legs of a man.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

The horse is prepared for the day of battle: but safety is from the LORD.

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.

But you said, No; for we will flee on horses; therefore shall you flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall those who pursue you be swift.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help; and rely on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, You are our gods: for in you the fatherless finds mercy.

When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses, and chariots, and a people more than you, be not afraid of them: for the LORD your God is with you, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

And the LORD overcame Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his army, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera got down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.
