With my whole heart have I sought you: O let me not wander from your commandments.

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

What man is he that fears the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

My foot stands in a level place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before my face.

For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is wickedness itself; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter with their tongue.

He shall repay evil to my enemies: cut them off in your truth.

They search for iniquity; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

Teach me your way, O LORD; I will walk in your truth: make my whole heart fear your name.

The way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.

They are all plain to him that understands, and right to those who find knowledge.

And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for others: the traveling men, though fools, shall not err therein.

For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my companions watched for my downfall, saying, Perhaps he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

And they watched him, and sent out spies, which would pretend to be just men, that they might take hold of his words, that in this way they might deliver him to the power and authority of the governor.
