And God said to him in a dream, Yea, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart; for I also withheld you from sinning against me: therefore I did not let you touch her.

That which I do not see teach me: if I have done iniquity, I will do so no more.

For the righteous LORD loves righteousness; his countenance beholds the upright.

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

When a ruler has sinned, and done something through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

And if any one of the common people sins through ignorance, while he does something against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and is guilty;

And accordingly do I exert myself, to have always a conscience free of offense toward God, and toward men.

But chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise authority. Presumptuous and self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of that which is honorable

And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that has pleaded the cause of my reproach at the hand of Nabal, and has kept his servant from evil: for the LORD has returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and talked with Abigail, to take her to him as wife.
