Jerusalem is built as a city that is joined together:
So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward.
So we built the wall; and all the wall was repaired even to the half of it: for the people had a mind to work.
The LORD builds up Jerusalem: he gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
