My foot has held to his steps, his way have I kept, and not turned aside.

Many are my persecutors and my enemies; yet do I not turn aside from your testimonies.

You have rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from your commandments.

I have held to your testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.

The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep your precepts with my whole heart.

Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps turned aside from your way;

And said, Remember now, O LORD, I plead with you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight. And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he has set judgment in the earth: and the islands shall wait for his law.

O LORD, you have deceived me, and I was deceived: you are stronger than I, and have prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocks me.

And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
