And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit of it, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her; and he did eat.

Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.

Let your fountains be spread abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.

Let your fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of your youth.

But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, worked in me all manner of evil desires. For without the law sin was dead.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
