My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my profit than choice silver.

It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is of little worth.

How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver!

For the profit of it is better than the profit of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice:

For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense: but the excellence of knowledge is, that wisdom gives life to those who have it.
