As the door turns upon its hinges, so does the slothful upon his bed.

The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.

The slothful man does not roast that which he took in hunting: but the possessions of a diligent man are valuable.

Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

That you be not slothful, but followers of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
