O that my ways were directed to keep your statutes!

I thought about my ways, and turned my feet to your testimonies.

The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

Happy is the man that fears always: but he that hardens his heart shall fall into mischief.

He, that being often reproved hardens his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Let your eyes look ahead, and let your eyelids look straight before you.

Consider the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established.

So she caught him, and kissed him, and with a determined face said to him,

Who is like the wise man? and who knows the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom makes his face to shine, and the fierceness of his face shall be changed.

O LORD, are not your eyes upon the truth? you have struck them, but they have not grieved; you have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among those who fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be thrown down, says the LORD.

Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Now therefore thus says the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

And now, I pray you, consider from this day and onward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:

Now may God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.
