Proverbs 18:1

Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeks and involves himself with all wisdom.

For wherein shall it be known here that I and your people have found grace in your sight? is it not in that you go with us? so shall we be separated, I and your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

The heart knows its own bitterness; and a stranger does not partake of its joy.

The beginning of strife is as when one lets out water: therefore leave off contention, before you meddle with it.

He that goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flatters with his lips.

It is an honor for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

My son, fear the LORD and the king: and do not meddle with those who are restless for change:

He that passes by, and meddles with strife not belonging to him, is like one that takes a dog by the ears.

My son, let them not depart from your eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

I did not sit in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoice; I sat alone because of your hand: for you have filled me with indignation.

And to speak to the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field; which when a man has found, he hides, and for joy thereof goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

And he said to them, To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but to those who are outside, all these things are done in parables:

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated for the gospel of God,

Therefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

And every animal that parts the hoof, and divides the cleft into two claws, and chews the cud among the beasts, that you shall eat.

These are those who separate themselves, sensual, not having the Spirit.
