How sweet are your words to my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

There is the man who speaks like the piercing of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

A man has joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken at the right time, how good it is!

The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.

A merry heart does good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries up the bones.

Yea, my heart shall rejoice, when your lips speak right things.

Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so does the sweetness of a man’s friend by hearty counsel.

It shall be health to your body, and marrow to your bones.

For they are life to those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.

Your lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under your tongue; and the smell of your garments is like the smell of Lebanon.

Your words were found, and I did eat them; and your word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by your name, O LORD God of hosts.

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the gentle rain upon the tender plant, and as the showers upon the grass:

And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
