The wicked works a deceitful work: but to him that sows righteousness shall be a sure reward.
Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and became very mighty.
And they lie in wait for their own blood; they wait secretly for their own lives.
The labor of the righteous tends to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
He that sows iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.
His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be held with the cords of his sins.
He that digs a pit shall fall into it; and he who breaks a hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall lay waste their images.
And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for life eternal: that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
That you put off concerning the former conduct the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
