Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of your servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer, which your servant prays before you today:

And do not seek what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, neither be of doubtful mind.

And he spoke a parable to them for this purpose, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

And shall not God avenge his own elect, who cry day and night to him, though he bears long with them?

Are you called being a servant? Do not be concerned about it: but if you have an opportunity to become free, make use of it.

But I would have you without anxiety. He who is unmarried is anxious about the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

You also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed on us by means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

Giving thanks always for all things to God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching concerning these things with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you are called in one body; and be thankful.

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

I urge therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

Now she who is a widow indeed, and alone, trusts in God, and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch even to prayer.

Casting all your cares on him; for he cares for you.

And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, So far the LORD has helped us.
