How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who announces peace; who brings good tidings of good, who announces salvation; who says to Zion, Your God reigns!

And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.

Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark, cousin of Barnabas, (concerning whom you received instructions: if he comes to you, receive him;)

And we plead with you, brethren, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and teaching.

Obey those who have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Therefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he does, babbling against us with malicious words: and not content with this, neither does he himself receive the brethren, and forbids those who would, and casts them out of the church.
