And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the comforting of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their food with gladness and singleness of heart,
And the multitude of those who believed was of one heart and of one soul: neither did any of them say that any of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common.
Likewise the Spirit also helps our weaknesses: for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we are Jews or Gentiles, whether we are slaves or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and into all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.
